Four Ways to Style Your Favorite Joggers
When quarantine hit, I thought I was set on comfy clothes. Turns out, I was wrong. After realizing that I didn’t have enough pairs of pants and cozy tops for the week, without doing tons of laundry, I started looking online. Not only did I buy a pair of yoga pants, I also purchased a few pairs of joggers because I love the way they look--and they’re more forgiving than yoga pants. But, now that we’re coming out of quarantine and I feel like all I’ve done with my time is veg, eat, dress comfy, repeat; it’s time to put some different styles to use. So, I took to some of our most fashionable girls at R+R and had them put together a few ideas on how to style our comfortable clothes into more transitional pieces. Here are four ways to style your joggers.
1) Monochromatics:
I was one of many Loyal Royals that purchased the Faith Hoodie with the Tamara Joggers. I bought the black set, because it’s my jam. Not only is it soft, there’s something about monochromatic colors, right now, that are totally chic looking. Matching sets and head to toe everything is super in right now. The Faith and Tamara are swoon-tastically soft and will have you cozy in no time.
2) Sporty Style :
Maybe you want something more sporty? Or, perhaps you’re like me and you’re going to fake it until you make it—looking like you workout haha. Pair your Annalise Joggers along with a strappy Britton Bralette for a cozy vibe. But wait, you don’t feel quite comfortable? Throw a Pierre Windbreaker on top. Not only are you ready to workout or get in a quick run, you’re going to look super sporty while doing it.
3) Lunch Date:
This is the perfect way to stay comfortable and look stylish while doing it. Pair your Janson Leopard Joggers along with the Effie Bodysuit (more colors and sizes to come) and throw on a Natalie Denim Jacket over top. That little bit of leopard contrast with denim is super fun. You can sit on a patio and have Arnold Palmers with your best gal pals and not feel restricted in your jeans.
4) Back to Work:
I love this last look the most. We took Viola Leisure Pants and paired them with the Lenia Leopard Top. Not only will you be super chic when you head back to your office, but you can stay comfortable, too. Pair these two things with some strappy heels and you’re already a ‘Boss Babe’.
